About this project
The project involves a thoughtful expansion of an existing single-family home, aimed at significantly improving its functionality and the comfort of its occupants. The project expands the building's mass by an additional 40 m², optimally divided between two floors. A new section was designed to complement the traditional gabled roof, taking the form of a cubic "cube" on consoles, creating a dynamic and contemporary contrast.
The expansion was designed on two levels, making optimal use of the terrain. A utility room was located on the ground floor. On the first floor, a bright and spacious living room was created – a new, representative living area. It is characterized by large corner glazing, which opens the interior to the view and brings in abundant natural light. The façade of this floor is adorned with an elegant accent of warm, vertical natural wood cladding, which blends perfectly with the light plaster and surrounding greenery.
